Let's plant chives! Fresh chives add a nice onion or garlic taste to salads, soups, eggs and pasta dishes.
Chive seeds are so tiny. You will only need about a third of the seeds in the packet for one pot.
Sprinkle a few at a time all over the top of the dirt. Make sure each seed lands in its own little spot.
Cover all the seeds lightly with a bit of dirt.
Pat the dirt down so each little seed has its own snug dirt blanket.
Now it's time to water. Just a bit of water, poured over the seeds gently.
Wave your magic fingers over the seeds and say
"Grow, grow, grow!"
Place the pot in a sunny spot! Little green shoots will appear in 1 week.
